Spacious Shelter for Large or Multiple Dogs

The Kennel Castle measures approximately 4 feet wide by 4 feet deep, with an interior dog-house height of approximately 3 feet. Its generous size accommodates large breeds such as Mastiffs, Great Danes, Saint Bernards, German Shepherds, and similar dogs.

Depending on the size and temperament of the dogs, the interior may also accommodate two or more dogs. The open floor area, elevated porch, and sheltered lower section provide multiple spaces where dogs can sleep, lounge, observe their surroundings, or play.

A Playground-Style Kennel Environment

Traditional dog houses can occupy a large portion of a kennel run. The Kennel Castle uses vertical space by positioning the shelter above part of the kennel, leaving more ground-level room available for movement and exercise.

Many dogs enjoy resting above ground where they can observe their surroundings. The elevated porch provides a comfortable lookout point, while the sheltered area underneath offers shade and protection without requiring additional yard space.

Low-Maintenance Construction

The dog house is constructed from durable double-wall polyethylene plastic. Unlike a traditional wooden dog house, it does not require routine staining or painting and will not rot from exposure to moisture.

The walls, floor, and roof contain approximately 2 inches of insulation to help regulate the interior temperature. The structural frame is made from powder-coated steel for additional durability and long-term outdoor performance.

Attractive Residential Design

The molded wood-grain exterior provides the appearance and texture of a traditional dog house without the maintenance requirements of wood. The simulated shingle-style roof features a steep pitch that helps rain and snow drain away quickly.

Convenient Dog and Owner Access

The large dog entrance measures approximately 15 inches wide by 21 inches tall, providing room for larger breeds to enter and exit comfortably.

A separate personal access door allows an owner to reach the interior without crawling through the dog opening. This makes it easier to clean the floor, adjust bedding, check puppies, or retrieve items from inside the house.

The personal access door includes a location for an optional padlock, helping prevent children or visitors from accidentally opening the enclosure. Padlocks are sold separately.

Magnetic Vinyl Flap Door

The transparent vinyl flap door includes a magnetic strip along the bottom to help it return to the closed position after the dog passes through. The clear material allows natural light into the house and lets the dog see outside while helping reduce wind and drafts.

Ramp and Elevated Porch

The included 4-foot ramp provides access to the elevated entrance and porch. Traction cleats help dogs maintain secure footing while walking up or down the ramp.

The porch creates additional usable space for resting, climbing, playing, and observing the surrounding area. It also serves as a transition area between the ramp and the dog-house entrance.

Adjustable Ventilation

Front and rear vents provide cross ventilation through the dog house. The vents can be opened during warm weather to increase airflow and closed during colder weather to help retain interior warmth.

Sheltered Space Under the Dog House

The elevated structure creates an additional protected area beneath the dog house where dogs can rest in the shade or play. Raising the house above ground also helps prevent water and snow from seeping into the sleeping area.

Expandable Kennel Run

The kennel run can be expanded by adding compatible panels. Depending on the selected layout, additional panels can increase the available exercise area without replacing the original system.

Optional steel roofing can cover part or all of the kennel run to provide shade and additional weather protection. A roof may also help discourage dogs from climbing or jumping out of the enclosure.

Easy Interior Cleaning

The interior floor is sloped toward a drain opening for easier washdown. Simply rinse the interior and allow the water to flow toward the drain. The raised floor also helps provide a dry sleeping and bedding area.

Electrical Cord Access

A designated cord portal allows the electrical cord from an optional dog-house heater to exit through the side of the shelter. This helps keep the cord away from the main floor area where the dog could trip over or chew it. Heaters are sold separately.

Assembly

Assembly is required. The Kennel Castle is designed for relatively quick installation, although assembly time will vary based on the selected package, kennel-run size, roofing, flooring, and accessories.

A drill and appropriate socket for the self-tapping fasteners may be required when attaching the roof and other components. Review all instructions before beginning assembly.

One-Year Limited Warranty

The Kennel Castle is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original purchase date. Warranty coverage is subject to the complete warranty terms provided with the product.
