The kennel corner cap seals the area where two panels meet. They attach very easy using self-tapping screws. Shears up and gives a clean look to kennels without canvas tops. The caps can be used in conjunction with panel flex pins to strengthen the rigidity of the kennel where very large dogs might push up against the kennel and shift it slightly. They are also used with the climbing prevention system to insure hyper dogs not used to kennels cannot jump up through the corner where the two panels meet or have the possibility of getting a foot stuck there where the two corners meet. Two get the full benefit of this you must have the climbing prevention rollers located in the middle of the panel. This is not used with a canvas top as the canvas top will function just as the corner cap would.
As always we strive to manufacture the safest kennel on the market, recently it has come to our attention that some dogs who are especially fond of climbing on or jumping in their kennels may inadvertently get their paw caught in the top corner of their kennel, which has the potential to cause injury. This is not a likely concern for most of our valued customers, but we would like to take every possible precaution to ensure the absolute safety of your best friend. If your dog is a climber or jumper he or she may be susceptible to getting a paw caught, to prevent this from happening please install "Corner and joint guards" (pictured below). They are easy to install using the included Zip-Ties or Self-Tapping Screws. Simply line up the Cap with an interior corner or joint of your kennel, then attach with zip ties or self-drilling screws. The Self-drilling screws create a cleaner look, but will require a drill and nut driver.
